I find this is the best man to call when we have a stump problem.
His prices are more reasonable than anyone else, he's the boss and he makes sure nearly all the sawdust is removed. Wood chippings poison the lawn if you don't get them out. People wonder why the new grass wont grown after a stump has been removed. But this chap clears it up.

I had two troublesome apple trees that needed to be removed from my front lawn. Taking the trees down was relatively easy but removing the stumps required professional help. The Tree Stump Removal Company were recommended.

The job was carried out to an extremely high standard with hardly any trace of the works remaining after completion. Care was also taken to cordon off the public footpath during the works. All in all, a very professional job, good value and highly recommended!

Their work is first class, machinery able to tackle stumps large and small and the site always left very neat and tidy.

The Tree Stump Removal Company undertook for us a difficult job involving a large number of stumps, two of which - one of them the largest - were in an almost inaccessible area adjacent to our house and block paving drive.

Mr Foskett completed the work in an exemplary manner. He firstly explained, in detail, how his machinery worked and secondly got on with the job quietly, progressively and tidily. He took enormous care, not only with the difficult stumps but also an area adjacent to the electric supply. He tidied as he went along and left the site in perfect condition.

He is a considerate contractor, creating no difficulties in a residential courtyard. In addition to his work he was also charming, interesting and highly informative on not only what he was doing but related matters. We learnt a lot and he was a great pleasure to employ. We will use him again and recommend him to others without reservation

I recently had Kevin (Herts Stump Grinding) round to tackle what was left of an Ash spur, it's fair to say it was a bit of a monster stump.

Worse still, the tree had grown over the years around old pieces of concrete and general rubble which was also embedded in it. I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome, Kevin got on the case, screened the area and worked away at it, including having to stop to clear rubble from the stump along the way.

I was more than impressed with the depth Kevin was able to get down to, the new decking will now sale straight over the top no problem. Kevin is clearly a very experienced professional and I would highly recommend Herts Stump Grinding to anyone.
